Friends of Hostelling International Chicago,

Show some love right now for hostelling, international understanding, and education that creates global citizens among our students. Groupon’s G-Team, their philanthropic service, has chosen HI-Chicago’s Cultural Kitchen educational program as the featured nonprofit cause this week for its Daily Deal subscribers. You can make a difference in a young student’s life by making a donation in any amount starting at only $10.

Please Donate
The G-Team donation page is open! Donations can be made now through Thursday, January 26th at midnight Central. Follow this link for more information and to make a donation: http://www.groupon.com/deals/gt-hostelling-international-chicago Thank you for your support of our students and congratulations on bringing yourself a healthy dose of good karma.
HI-Chicago receives 100% of the donations which will give students the chance to learn to be global citizens. You can support the Cultural Kitchen educational program in increments of $10, with every $70 providing a student with the opportunity to gain understanding of world cultures, world citizenship, and respect for diversity. HI-Chicago is an Illinois nonprofit and 501(c)(3) qualified organization, therefore your donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
We need your help to take full advantage of this opportunity. Support the campaign with a pledge and spread the word to friends and family, encouraging them to do the same.

More Information
G-Team is a community outreach initiative within Groupon that brings communities together to do good, have fun, and make an impact. G-Team works in Chicago to help mission-driven organizations like ours raise money and raise awareness, channeling the collective buying power of Groupon followers and our local supporters.
Students connect to the world through Cultural Kitchen - experiential learning at its best. Through an interactive classroom curriculum, school teachers lead their students on a journey that increases cultural awareness and encourages open-mindedness towards the world as students study the culture of a country of their choice. Learning becomes real when students come to the hostel, cook an ethnic meal, dine with world travelers, and present their country to an international audience. Students experience the world of travel by sleeping at the hostel before spending the morning reflecting on their learning. Each year HI-Chicago teaches 800 students through Cultural Kitchen in over 30 local schools in partnership with their teachers. Every dollar ensures this outstanding experience reaches as many students as possible.
